NFDI4Culture and NFDI4Objects

Liaison officer: Martin Raspe / NFDI4Objects officer: Pietro Liuzzo

From the very beginnings of the concept of a Nationale Forschungsdaten-Infrastruktur (National Research Data Infrastructure, recommended by the Rat für Informationsinfrastrukturen and inaugurated by the German government in 2018), the BHMPI has been involved with the consortium for cultural historical scholarship in the Humanities. The institute is a long-term partner and signed the follow-up proposal for the next five years in 2024. The Photographic Collection publishes its data using the NFDI4Culture Culture Knowledge Graph specification and has started systematic indexing with Google Search Console using the same data embedded in the Online catalog.
Pietro Liuzzo has also been invited to join the cluster Objekte als Inschriftenträger of the NFDI4Objects consortium, where monthly meetings and collaborative work take place about vocabularies for inscriptions.
