Corporate Publishing

One aspect of communication is the conceptualization, design, and realization of information material that can be considered as corporate publishing. This material provides general information, makes available annual reviews, or highlights very specific insights into special initiatives and, more generally, into the scholarly work of the Institute.

For the Advisory Board meeting in 2025, the department has decided to present our Research Report in digital format and to supply Board Members additionally with prisma, a research magazine conceived and designed as a tool for scientific and academic communication addressing different target groups. It seeks to reach an interested public, to inspire humanities scholars at different stages of their careers, and to inform our Scientific Advisory Board about the innovative scholarship generated by the Institute in recent years and about its organizational structure with its various Departments, Research Groups, and Scientific Services. The Institute’s engagement with corporate publishing extends further to include additional communication formats such as our annual greetings card, which offers a concise overview of the preceding year and which is prepared in both an analogue and a digital format. Another example comes in the form of the Mnemosyne booklets and project-specific postcards, which disseminate information related to the Institute and its research initiatives.
