Digital Architectures
Pietro Maria Liuzzo

The research project looks at architecture and implementation strategies of existing digital environments for the publication of Digital Documentation Photography of Objects relevant to the study of Art History. Particular attention is given to different data models, pipelines, and workflows for different user groups. Special attention is paid to the investigation of the use of different types of open access data by the users, to the evaluation of formats for specific research questions and to the adequateness of data quality. How does the design and implementation of a digital product compare to other media output with regard to the implementation of the architecture delivering it? What parameters can be used for the evaluation of the quality of an architecture which transcend its front-end facing parts? How does exploratory programming impacts these parameters?
