Linked Data Infrastructure for Cognitive Computing with Bibliotheca Hertziana Research Data

Alessandro Adamou

My research at the Bibliotheca Hertziana focuses on cognitive computing methodologies for conducting visual studies and content analytics over the wealth of catalogued information made available through various projects at the Hertziana. To that end, I will be working on schema reconciliation, knowledge extraction, and data integration to provide a unified, harmonised access point for querying the corresponding datasets programmatically, thereby constructing the comprehensive knowledge graph of BHMPI research. I have ongoing collaborations with the University of Lausanne and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne to research computational models for the integrated consumption of cultural heritage content (textual/visual) and corresponding (meta)data.
